For those of you unsure of what to do with Sidewiki, the new Google tool for leaving comments for other Sidewiki users on any page on the Internet, the EyeOnFDA blog has a great piece coming out of the pharmaceutical industry.
The post, A Pharmaceutical Webmaster Takes Action on Sidewiki, includes instructions on inserting a webmaster entry into Sidewiki which appears above any other Sidewiki entries.
The rules for Pharma companies are a little different than those for hospitals, but the AstraZeneca example in the post includes several pieces:
- A disclaimer
- Expectations that no one from AZ will be responding to Sidewiki comments
- Links to more productive places to send feedback (contact us and Twitter)
- Company description
- Links to landing pages for key audiences (investors, journalists, job seekers)
So how are you approaching Sidewiki? Has anyone seen hospitals taking this approach?
