It’s been hard to miss the corporate spat going on between Apple and Adobe over the role of Adobe’s Flash technology in the Web of the future. Now that both sides have stated their position on the matter, it’s time for the community at large to start sorting it out:
- Lee Brimlow, Adobe’s Product Evangelist for Flash presents the formal opening salvo in the argument
- Steve Jobs, Apple’s Grand Pubah, rebuts Adobe’s claims with an open letter entitled “thoughts on flash”
- And, for some initial analysis, PCWorld’s Tony Bradley begins to sort out the casualties
How are you viewing this battle? Does it change your views on Adobe or Apple? Are you changing your future development plans and studying up on your HTML5?

And, never one to miss on opening once presented, Google is offering Adobe employees free Android phones. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-20003922-94.html
Hopefully, this means that Android will have some flash support in the near future, perhaps?
