Geonetric’s January webinar is meant to get healthcare marketers excited. Energized. Motivated. It’s all about ideas you can implement today that will improve your hospital’s online efforts. Better yet: they’re ideas that will make a big impact without requiring a big portion of your budget!
To give you a sample of the information that we’ll cover in the webinar, check out these three tips:
- Stop using stock images. You have amazing doctors and nurses. You have grateful patients. You have caring volunteers. Use them in your photos! Nothing is more disheartening for a site visitor than to see posed, fake doctors and patients. Make an effort to use more natural imagery that is authentic to your organization. High-quality, professional cameras are on the market at prices almost anyone can afford. Pick one up for your marketing department, spend some time getting acquainted with it and schedule a photo shoot.
- Re-purpose your content investments. As long as you’re making an investment in producing useful, authoritative content for certain topics – like all that content you’re creating to promote doctors, service lines and facilities – and look for ways to repurpose that investment and engage readers on multiple channels. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to leverage work you’re already doing and create additional material for your website and social media efforts.
- Improve your landing pages. If you plan to run an ad campaign and want to use a URL on those ads, take some time and really think about where you’re sending that health consumer. Is that landing page tailored to the campaign? Does the imagery and content support the offline branding? And most importantly, does it have a call-to-action on it? Once the visitor gets to the landing page can they sign up for an appointment, or a newsletter, or a seminar?
